TopXNotes 1.4.1 has the following changes:
CHANGED FEATURES
• Find Menu Submenu renamed to slightly clearer “Find in...” (was “Find in Note”)
• In Find Dialog “Search Notepad” renamed “Search All Notes”
• Error Dialog displayed when double clicking a file you might be trying to import changed. It now directs you to use the File menu (not the Notes menu).
• Default behavior on first launch changed to show NoteOrganizer and 2 notes (Introduction and Getting Started) in separate views
FIXED
• Bug that caused a crash in certain rare circumstances if iPod name was mangled
PREVIOUS VERSIONS NOTES:
- TopXNotes 1.4.0 merged TopXNotes and TopXNotes iPod
- TopXNotes 1.3.2 contained Sparkle based automatic update checking.
- TopXNotes 1.3.1 added over 100 built-in Samples and Templates
Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or higher is required for TopXNotes. TopXNotes is completely compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
TopXNotes supports what are now called "classic iPods". We do not support the iPhone or iPod Touch at this time. The iPod export feature requires a 3rd generation or newer classic iPod. If an iPod has an LCD and Dock connector, and the Apple Notes Reader is installed (which it is by default on those iPods that have the notes feature), the TopXNotes export feature should work with that iPod.
For help on troubleshooting iPod issues, please see our iPod Tech Notes.
Tropical Software was the first developer to sync notes from the Mac to the iPod, and bringing this functionality to the iPhone andiPod Touch is a high priority for us. We are hard at work on a notes product for the iPhone and iPod Touch that will sync up with a new version of TopXNotes (also in development).
Should you need to contact us for support, first make sure your equipment (either Mac or iPod) meets the above requirements. If it does, please use the form below to submit a support request. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible, usually within one business day.
