To import a "Notepad data file" as a Group, select "Import Note Group" from the File menu. You will now see a navigation dialog presented for you to use to navigate to a "Notepad data file" to import. Select the file you wish to import in the normal way and then click "Import." You will now see a new Group with a name like "IMPORT-3/01/07 11:00:06 AM". This name makes the new Group stand out in your NoteOrganizer and contains the date and time so you can distinguish one import from another. This Group is just like any other Group in your organizer that may now be renamed as you like and dragged to organize in your organizer. The notes are now yours to use as is, keep as an example, or edit as you like.
In TopXNotes 1.3 or later just drag the sample to the NoteOrganizer to import.
If you are interested in submitting a sample please contact us with the proposed sample name and a brief description of the proposed sample. It can be something as simple as "Mom's favorite recipes" or more complex, like an Accountant's Notepad.
