TopXNotes SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

TopXNotes required a minimum of Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or higher. TopXNotes is completely compatible with Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and 10.7 (Tested against the developer release of Lion).

Apple requires Mac OS X 10.6 (Panther) or higher for the Apple Mac App Store version of TopXNotes. .

Apple touch device SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

TopXNotes touch currently works with any Apple touch device including:

  • iPod touch
  • iPhone
  • iPad

Classic iPod SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

TopXNotes iPod export feature currently only works with what are now called "Classic iPods". Our iPod export feature requires a newer (3rd generation or newer) Classic iPod. Apple has not used the informal "generations" terminology and it is not easy to find out about. However, if an iPod has an LCD and Dock connector, and the Apple Notes Reader is installed, note should work. According to Apple, the Notes feature is available on iPod models with a dock connector including:

  • iPod mini
  • iPod with color display (iPod photo)
  • iPod (Click Wheel)
  • iPod (with Dock Connector)
  • iPod nano
  • iPod with video

NOTE: iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are NOW supported yet.
